A taushiyyah to be a willing servant ..
By: Daniel Ustadz Ahmad, Lc
Sincere, a word that is familiar in the ears of the Muslims. A word is a short but very great significance. A word of a Muslim who lost her case, it would be fatal to life, good life of the world even more life in the hereafter. Yes that's him, a sincerity. A servant of charity will not be accepted if the charity is not done sincerely for Allah.
Allah says which means "And worship Allah with religious mengikhlaskan to Him." (Az Zumar: 2).
Sincerity is a condition of receipt of a charitable act in addition to other requirements, namely to follow the guidance of the Prophet alaihi wasallam Shollallahu.
Ibn Mas'ud Rhodiyallahu anhu said: "The words and deeds of a servant would not be useful unless the intention (sincere), and not be too useful words, actions and intentions of a servant except in accordance with the Sunnah (Prophet Shollallahu follow alaihi wasallam)".
What is Ikhlas?
Many of the scholars who begin their books with the intention of discussing the issues (where it is most closely associated with sincerity), in which Imam Bukhari in the book shohihnya, Imam Al-Maqdisi in the book Umdatul Ahkam, Imam Nawawi Nawawi in the book and Riyadhus Sholihinnya Arbain, in the book of Imam Al Baghowi Masobihis sunnah and other scholars. This shows how important it is sincerity. however, what is the meaning of sincerity itself?. My brother, who is the sincerity is when you make your intentions of doing a deed only for Allah alone, you do not because in addition to God, not because of riya (to be human) or sum'ah (human beings want to be heard), nor because you want get compliments and high position among men, and not because you do not want to disgrace the man. If you do a practice not only for the sake of Allah because all of this, then know my brother, it means you have been sincere. Fudhail bin Iyadh said "Charity for man is Shirk, leaving the charity because humans are riya '.
In It What I Should Have Ikhlas?
Some people think that the name of sincerity that exists only in purely religious matters such as prayer, fasting, zakat, reading al Quran, Hajj and other religious deeds. But my brother, know that there must be sincerity in deeds-deeds are associated with muamalah. When you smile to your brother, you must be sincere. When you visit your brother, you must be sincere. When you lend your brother's stuff he needs, you have had sincere. It is not you do it all but solely because God, you smile at your brother's not for him to do good unto thee, thou shalt not lend, or helping your brother so that some day soon when you need something then you too will be assisted by it or not anyway because Fear is said to be a stingy person. No O my brother, and teach all the charity for God. Shollallahu Prophet alaihi wasallam said: "There's a man who visited his brother in another city, God sent an angel on his journey, when the angel met him, the angel asked" where are you going to? "Then he said:" I would like to visit my brother who lives in this city ". Then the angel again asked, "Do you have an interest in reward for him?" The man replied: "No, it's just that I went because I love him because God, the angel also said," that I am the messenger of God to preach to you that Allah love your brother as you love it so "(Muslim). Consider this Hadith O my brother, no man visited his brother but only because God, in return, God will love that person. In another hadith, the Prophet Shollallahu alaihi wasallam said: "It is not you provide for your family that you expect to face the act of God, then account for it will be rewarded by God, even to a mouthful of food that you put in the mouth of your wife" (Bukhari Muslim). Meditate on these words of his brother, O, even "just" a mouthful of food we put in our mouths wife, if we do it sincerely for Allah, then Allah will give reward. It is a very, very big luck if we can bring sincerity in all our movements.
A Small Charity blessing which For Ikhlas
My brother who may be loved by Allah, which is required in many charitable deeds are not a charity but without sincerity. Amal is considered small in the human eye, if we do it willingly for God, then God will accept and magnifies the reward of good deeds. Abdullah bin Mubarak said: "How many small practices to large for intentions, and how many were of a small charity that just because the intention". Shollallahu Prophet alaihi wasallam said: "A man saw a tree branch in the middle of the road, he said: By Allah I will get rid of this branch so as not to interfere with the Muslims, so he go to heaven for it" (Muslim). Look brother, how small the deed which he did, but it was enough for him to go to heaven because of it. In another hadith the Prophet Shollallahu alaihi wasallam said: "There was a dog that circles around the well, the dog was almost dead from thirst, then it is viewed by one prostitute of the sons of Israel, he was filling his shoes with water from wells and give drink to the dog, then Allaah will forgive his sins "(Bukhari Muslim). Subhanallah, a prostitute her sins forgiven by God simply because it gives the drink a dog, how paltry his actions in the human eye, but with that God forgive his sins. How then also if you please if he is a Muslim?. And conversely, O my brother, the deeds of great value, had done no sincerity, then it would not be beneficial for him. In a hadith from Abu Umamah Al Bahili, he said: a man came to the Prophet and asked: O Messenger of Allah, how do you think of someone who fought to get a reward and that he was mentioned by others, the Prophet replied: He do not get anything. The man repeated his question three times, the Prophet replied: He did not get anything. Then he said: Verily Allah will not accept a deed unless the deed is done sincerely for it "(Abu Dawud Hadith Shohih History and Nasa'i). In this hadith he explained that one of jihad, a practice which is of great value, but he was not sincere in his deeds, then he did not get any replies.
Fruits of Sincerity
To end this brief discussion, then we'll bring you some pieces that would be obtained by people who are sincere. A person who has sincere good deed because Allah (in addition to the charity must be in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet), then his sincerity will be able to prevent the devil to master and misleading. Allah says concerning the words of the devil cursed upon him, which means: "He said:" For the sake of Thy power, I will put them all, Except Thy servants among them sincere "(Shod: 82-83). Another fruit that would be obtained by those who are sincere will of God is a person keep from immoral deeds and evil, as Allah said about the Prophet Joseph, which means "Thus, that We might turn away from him kemungkaran and abominations. Indeed Joseph's including slaves of us who are sincere. "(Yusuf: 24). On this verse Allah tells the story of God's preservation of the Prophet Joseph that he was protected from indecency, but the factors that encouraged him to undertake such actions very powerful. However, because the Prophet Joseph, including people who are sincere, then Allaah will take care of immoral deeds. Therefore, O my brother, if you frequently and repeatedly fell in the act of disobedience, be aware that actually caused minimal or no sincerity in us, then the self-introspection and reform our intention all along, may God keep us from all disobedience and make us among those who are sincere. Yes Amin Robbal alamin.
